Protecting the environment was always important to me. It started slowly with composting my food scraps to doing garbage pickups in our city to replacing single-use items with reusables and so on! I quickly realized there are so many single-use/plastic home products; like plastic sponges, toothbrushes, and razors that are often overlooked but are actually huge waste contributors and are doomed to linger in the landfill forever. I knew there had to be eco-friendly products that I could use for my home that I could feel good about and not have the anxiety of throwing it out. That’s when I decided to create Kander & King. I hope to change people's perspective on living sustainably by being open and honest about our products and business and putting the planet before profit.
